Rafael Simao

Rafael Simao has extensive experience in finance and entrepreneurship, including roles as Co-Founder and CEO at Abyssal S.A. and Co-Founder at Immunethep and Venture Catalysts. Simao served as an Advisor for Internal Market, Industry, and Competitiveness at the Permanent Representation of Portugal to the European Union and held a position as Manager of Corporate Banking at Banco Espírito Santo. Simao's corporate finance expertise was further demonstrated at Ocean Infinity. Academic qualifications include a BSc in Economics from Universidade de Coimbra and an MBA in International Management, Finance from Porto Business School, supplemented by studies in International Management at IE Business School and International Finance and Economics at Baylor University.
