Rhys Davies

Rhys Davies is a seasoned professional in hydrography and technology management, currently serving as the Technology and Transition Manager and Senior Hydrographic Surveyor at Ocean Infinity since April 2022. Previously, Rhys held the position of Senior Hydrographic Surveyor/GIS at iXblue from January 2008 to April 2022, and worked as a Hydrographic Surveyor with the Royal New Zealand Navy from September 1998 to January 2008. Rhys possesses a Post Graduate Diploma in Hydrography with distinction from the University of Plymouth, an IHO Cat B certification, SSSI AHSCP Level 1 accreditation, and expertise as a GIS Specialist and Inshore Launch Master. Recent education includes a Micro Credential in Cloud Computing from The University of Auckland in July 2023.
