Jack Pan is the CEO and Lead Oceanographer at Ocean Motion Technologies since 2018, specializing in energy and data from marine environments. Additionally, Jack serves on the External Advisory Board for UMERC-US, as a Board Member for TMA BlueTech™, and as Treasurer and Board Member for the Marine Technology Society - San Diego Section. Jack's research contributions at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory from 2021 to 2024 focus on water ecosystems, building on previous work as DEVELOP Team Lead. With a strong academic background, Jack holds a PhD in Oceanography from Scripps Institution of Oceanography and possesses extensive experience in satellite oceanography and computational modeling, with earlier research roles at UC Irvine.
