Emma Bootman has over two decades of experience in food science and quality assurance, beginning as NPD Manager at Jordan's Cereals from 2000 to 2005, where protocols for new product delivery and taste panel evaluations were established. Emma then served as Food Technologist at Whitbread from 2005 to 2008, focusing on product and supplier relationship management. Following this, Emma was a Technical Manager at NSF-CMi until 2012, and then Group Technical Manager at European Oat Millers Ltd until 2013. As Lead Auditor at Food Safety Services International from 2013 to 2020, auditing various scopes within the food industry, Emma contributed to the quality assurance for YUM Brands. Currently, Emma holds the position of FSQA Senior Food Scientist at Ocean Spray Cranberries, overseeing food safety and quality across the UK, EU, and IMEA. Emma earned a Joint Hons BSc in Food Science, Food Economics and Marketing from the University of Reading from 1994 to 1998.
