Eric Schwaab

Eric Schwaab is a senior executive specializing in environmental and climate work with a focus on oceans, agriculture, and food systems. Currently, they serve as a Senior Fellow at Ocean Visions, leading the Phytoplankton Carbon Solutions R&D initiative. Eric's extensive experience spans government, foundation, and non-profit sectors, including roles as Assistant Administrator of Fisheries at NOAA and Chief Program Officer at the National Park Foundation. They have also held various leadership positions, such as Vice President at the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and Senior Vice President at the Environmental Defense Fund. Eric holds a BA in Biology from McDaniel College and is pursuing an MA in Geography and Environmental Planning at Towson University, along with a certificate from the Harvard Kennedy School.
