Soonkyu Hwang is currently engaged in procurement as a 총괄 at OW Korea and OW Ocean Winds. They have extensive experience in the wind energy sector, having begun their career in 2008 with the strategic planning team at Hyosung Heavy Industries, where they managed multiple projects both locally and internationally. They served as a team leader for the Wind Energy Business Development Team at Daelim C&S from 2013 to 2022, focusing on offshore wind foundation packages and cross-border M&A. Soonkyu is pursuing an MSc in International Management-Global Strategic Management at Oxford Brookes University, complemented by a bachelor's degree in Public Administration from 명지대학교.
