Alex Izard

Alex Izard is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in corporate partnerships, marketing, and operations. Currently serving as a Senior Specialist in Corporate Partnerships at Ocean Wise since March 2023, Alex's previous roles include Shucker/Server at Rodney's Oyster House and Research/Communication Lead at NorLand Limited, where Alex developed a cost/benefit model for fleet electrification. Alex's entrepreneurial spirit is evident through operating The Wandering Mollusk, managing a catering service and pop-up oyster bar. Academic achievements include an Advanced Diploma with Distinction in Sustainable Business Leadership and a Diploma with Distinction in Marketing Management - Entrepreneurship, both from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
