Eric Bilsky

Eric Bilsky is the General Counsel at Oceana, where they manage domestic and international legal compliance, risk management, and business transactions. With extensive experience in marine conservation advocacy and litigation, they advise leadership on matters such as non-profit law, intellectual property, and employee benefits. Eric has successfully led campaigns to protect oceans by developing legal strategies and advocating for marine conservation provisions in international trade agreements. Previously, they served as Senior Attorney at the Ocean Law Project and held multiple roles at Oceana since 2001, including Acting General Counsel. Eric holds degrees in Philosophy from Yale University and UCLA, as well as a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.
