Julia Singer

Julia Singer, MPP, completed their Master of Public Policy at American University with a concentration in international environmental and cyber policy. They earned a bachelor's degree in marine biology with a minor in sustainability from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Currently working as a Marine Scientist at Oceana, Julia focuses on protecting the North Atlantic right whale and promoting responsible fishing practices. Their previous roles include a Management Analyst intern at the U.S. Government Accountability Office and a Graduate Fellow at the Roosevelt Group, where they supported bipartisan initiatives in policy research. Julia aspires to continue advancing fishery management and environmental conservation in the nonprofit or public sector.
