Samuel Benson

Samuel Benson is an experienced marine engineer and energy innovator, currently serving as a Director and Co-Founder at OceanBit, where they lead engineering and business development efforts for Ocean Thermal Powerplants. Previously, they worked as a Marine Engineer and then Project Manager at Teekay, focusing on vessel operations and compliance. Samuel began their marine career with Teekay's cadetship program and gained hands-on experience across various vessel types. They also held positions at ASP Ship Management and Aus Pacific Maritime, enriching their expertise in marine engineering. Samuel holds a Graduate Certificate and an Advanced Diploma in Marine Engineering from the University of Tasmania.
