Ben Hooker

Ben Hooker has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. Ben currently serves as the Director of Global Business Development - Renewables at Oceaneering since October 2020. Prior to that, they worked at James Fisher and Sons plc, where they held multiple roles, including Head of Sales, Key Account Director, Strategy and Business Development, Senior Business Development Manager, and Group Business Development Manager from 2015 to 2020. Between 2011 and 2015, they worked as a Non-Executive Director at Grey's of Ely Coaches, a luxury coach hire company. Ben also worked as the UK Sales Manager for CWind, a renewable energy sector provider, in 2014. Additionally, they had study leave at Lloyds Maritime Academy in 2014 and worked as a Product Development Consultant at Houlder Limited from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they served as the Managing Director at Helium Enterprises from 2009 to 2013 and as the Managing Director at Ocean Hover Limited from 2003 to 2008, where they provided international business development consultancy services. Ben also held the position of Managing Director at Technotrak from 1997 to 2002, where they focused on purchasing rights to safety products and developing markets. Finally, their early career includes various roles at Oceaneering as a Commercial Manager, Financial Controller, and Accountant from 1991 to 1996.

Ben Hooker attended The Leys School from 1983 to 1988. Ben then pursued a degree in Accountancy and Finance at the University of Buckingham from 1989 to 1991.
