Daniel Vela

Daniel Vela is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the engineering and technology sectors. Since April 2009, Daniel has held various positions at Oceaneering, currently serving as Vice President - OPG Americas and Global Account Director, overseeing major accounts such as Chevron, Murphy, and Hess. Daniel's previous roles include Interim Director - Americas, Director of Business Development for Oceaneering Service, Technology and Rentals, and Project Manager within the Installation Workover and Control Systems (IWOCS) group, focusing on project management and customer interfacing. Prior to joining Oceaneering, Daniel spent over eleven years at TEST Automation & Controls, where responsibilities included managing the fabrication of automated control systems and implementing Lean processes to improve operational efficiency.
