John McGrath

John McGrath is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the aerospace and defense industries, currently serving as Director of Manufacturing Operations for the Aerospace & Defense Technologies Division at Oceaneering since October 2025. Prior to this role, John held the position of Vice President of Operations and Engineering at Arnold Magnetic Technologies from March 2020 to October 2025, and served as Vice President and Division General Manager at ICI Services Corporation, overseeing Navy Shipbuilding Programs and Business Development from April 2017 to March 2020. John’s background includes program management at Alion Science and Technology and leadership roles at the US Naval Academy and throughout a distinguished 25-year career in the US Navy, which culminated in commanding the USS MISSISSIPPI (SSN 782) and leading the SUBMARINE NR-1. John holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a Master’s Degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Old Dominion University.
