Jon Spalding is an accomplished electronic technician with extensive experience in the maritime and engineering sectors. Currently employed at Oceaneering as an Electronic Technician since June 2025, Jon previously held positions at Crowley as an ETO and 3rd Assistant Engineer from January 2024 to June 2025. Prior to that, Jon served as Chief Electronics Technician at Transocean from June 2008 to January 2024, and worked as an Electrical Apprentice at Anheuser-Busch between April 2007 and June 2008. Early career experience includes roles as an Electrician at Newport News Shipbuilding, Test Driver at Volvo Penta, Field Technician at MasTec Network Solutions, and Interior Communications Electrician in the US Navy. Jon holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix, completed in 2012, and prior education at Thomas Nelson Community College from 2004 to 2008.
