Simao Silva

Simao Silva, PMP has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Simao is currently working at Oceaneering, where they serve as the BD Director & Brazil Country Manager. In this role, they are responsible for managing business development and operations in Brazil. Simao previously held the position of Director, Global Accounts at Oceaneering, where they had global responsibility for top customer performance. Simao also worked as the Global Business Development Manager for the Oceaneering Products group, overseeing sales and business development globally. Simao's experience also includes being the Senior Operations Manager for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, where they supervised operations managers and focused on on-time delivery, budget management, and talent development. Prior to that, they worked as the General Manager of Deepwater Technical Solutions in Brazil, managing all aspects of the business and operations. Simao also has experience as an Operations Manager for Subsea Robotics & Intervention Tooling, where they managed offshore assets and a team of employees. Outside of Oceaneering, they have served as a Board Member for ABESPetro and Arborium Carbon Capture Solutions. Simao started their career as a Technical Manager at Netcontrol Hydraulics and worked as a Technical Sales at Poliodonto.

Simao Silva, PMP, has a BSc in Business Administration from Aspen University. Simao also has a degree in Oil and Gas Engineering from Estácio and a degree in Civil Engineering from UERJ. Simao has pursued additional education in the field of Climate Change: Carbon Capture and Storage from The University of Edinburgh and in Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies from Harvard University. Simao also holds a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from The Project Management Institute (PMI).
