Lauri Mathis

Lauri Mathis, MLS, CIA, CRCM, currently serves as the Internal Audit Director at OceanFirst Bank since May 2016, following a role as Internal Audit Manager. Prior experience includes working as an Internal Auditor at Cape Bank from March 2011 to May 2016, where audit responsibilities included SOX, COSO, and compliance testing. Additionally, Lauri was a Branch Examiner at Sun National Bank from September 1997 to March 2011, managing audits for over 65 branches. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Legal Studies from Seton Hall University School of Law (2022-2024) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from Stockton University (2012-2016), complemented by an Accounting Specialist Program at Atlantic Cape Community College.
