Patrick Barrett

Patrick Barrett has extensive experience in the financial industry, holding various leadership positions throughout their career. Patrick currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at OceanFirst Bank since June 2022. Prior to this, they were the Chief Financial Officer at First Midwest Bancorp, Inc. from January 2017 to February 2022. Before that, they held the same position at Fulton Financial Corporation from November 2013 to January 2017. Patrick also worked at SunTrust Bank, where they served as the CFO of the Wholesale Bank from June 2011 to October 2013. Patrick was previously employed at SunTrust as a Senior Vice President from August 2010 to June 2012. Prior to joining SunTrust, Patrick was a Managing Director at JPMorgan Chase, starting in May 2003 and holding the position until October 2010. Patrick also worked as a Partner at Deloitte from July 1993 to May 2003.

Patrick Barrett attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 1983 to 1990, where they pursued a double major in Finance and Accounting and obtained their Bachelor of Science degree. In 1992, they enrolled as an MBA candidate at Georgia State University, specializing in Finance, completing their studies in 1993.
