Jacob Pollock has been working in the scientific field since 1995. Jacob began their career as a Consultant for Kro Productions in 1995. In 1999, they became a Research Assistant at the Berkeley Orthopaedic Biomechanics Laboratory, where they researched the mechanical properties of human trabecular bone. Jacob then moved on to Innovative Construction & Building Materials in 2001 as a Senior Scientist. In 2010, they joined Allergan Medical as a Scientist and then in 2012, they became a Materials Technical Lead and Senior Scientist at Oceanit.
Jacob Pollock's educational history began in 1994 when they graduated from George Washington High School with a High School Diploma. Jacob then went on to attend the University of California, Berkeley, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering in 2001. Afterward, they continued their studies at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, where they earned a Certificate in Management of Technology in 2006. Finally, they attended the University of California, San Francisco and University of California, Berkeley, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering in 2009.
