Jayson Nutt

Jayson Nutt has held several positions throughout their career. In 2018, they were an Information Technology Intern at Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company where they built and tested entire IT networks for multiple construction sites with no prior IT infrastructure, and designed and coded a secure enterprise-wide performance review system, complete with active directory authentication, for use by management. From 2009 to 2019, they were a Supervisor/Projectionist at Consolidated Theaters, where they lead a diverse team of employees, resolved customer service and service associate conflicts, and trained dozens of supervisors and service associates. In 2019, they began working at Oceanit as a Cyber Analyst / Network Engineer, where they served as the principal cyber security advisor for enterprise level security and played an integral role in CMMC 2.0 level 2 certification efforts assisting with both technical implementation and project management requiring intimate knowledge of NIST 800-171, DFARS, and ITAR requirements and regulations.

Jayson Nutt completed their Bachelor of Arts in Information & Computer Science - Security Science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2018. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Kapi’olani Community College.
