Matthew Williams

Senior Scientist at Oceanit

Matthew Williams has four years of work experience. From 2017 to present, they have been working as a Senior Scientist at Oceanit. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Senior Engineer/Scientist at United Technologies Research Center. From 2012 to 2015, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Princeton University, where they developed algorithms that blended techniques from machine learning and data mining with Koopman spectral analysis. Additionally, they were an Epidemiological Modeling Intern at Intellectual Ventures in 2012, where they applied multi-scale computing techniques to problems in epidemiology related to the spread of Polio.

Matthew Williams began their educational journey in 2003 when they attended Harvey Mudd College and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics in 2007. Matthew then continued their education at the University of Washington, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Applied Mathematics in 2009, followed by a PhD in Applied Mathematics in 2012.
