Derek Rupe

Derek Rupe has a diverse work experience in various roles. In 2007, they worked as a Bell Captain at the Elevation Hotel and Spa, where they were responsible for hiring and training staff and ensuring smooth operations. From 2004 to 2009, Derek served as a General Manager, growing the business by over 100% and implementing successful marketing campaigns. Derek also managed employees, organized group trips, and created a positive environment for customers and employees. Before that, they worked as a Store Manager at Main Stream Canoes and Kayaks, where they significantly grew the business. In 2009, Derek became a Regional Manager at Jackson Hewitt Tax Services, opening new stores and expanding into new markets. Most recently, they have been working as the CEO of Oceanvolt since 2018. Derek has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of driving growth in various industries.

Derek Rupe attended the University of Connecticut from 2004 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism.
