Daniel Forgett

Daniel Forgett is the Chief Information Security Officer at the NYS Office of Children and Family Services, a position they have held since 2018. They previously served as an Information Security Analyst at the University at Albany from 2014 to 2018 and as a Network Administrator at the Research Foundation of SUNY from 2004 to 2014. Their career began as a Systems Administrator at ORD Financial Services from 2000 to 2004. Daniel is currently pursuing degrees in Computer Information Systems at Hudson Valley Community College and Information Systems at SUNY Empire State College, while also teaching as an Adjunct Faculty member in Information Security & Digital Forensics.
