Lisa Thorne is currently the Chief of Investigations for the Special Investigations Unit at the NYS Office of Children and Family Services, a position they have held since 2015. They previously worked as a Criminal Investigator in the Office of Internal Affairs at the NYS Department of Tax & Finance from 2014 to 2015. Earlier in their career, Lisa served as a Project Coordinator at NYS OASAS from 2009 to 2013 and coordinated the Victim Witness Assistance Program at the Schenectady County District Attorney's Office from 1998 to 2001. Lisa earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology and a Master's degree in Administration and Leadership from the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh.
