Sean O'Connor

Sean O'Connor has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Sean started their career in 2006 at Geek Squad, where they served as the Deputy of Counter Intelligence. During their time there, they managed the repair and service workflow for over 300 electronic devices monthly, supervised a team of 15 IT repair professionals, and stayed updated on the latest hardware, software, and IT security threats.

In 2011, Sean joined the City of Falls Church as a Senior Revenue Assistant, where they maintained data integrity for thousands of personal property tax accounts and business licenses. Sean demonstrated proficiency in tax and motor vehicle legal codes, successfully solving complex problems for the VA DMV and Department of Taxation. Later, they transitioned to become an IT Consultant, collaborating with key stakeholders to create and implement the city's first online submission system. Sean also moderated and administrated webpage content associated with the Commissioner of the Revenue.

Since 2017, Sean has been working at OCH Technologies, LLC. Sean initially served as a Developer, specializing in Full Stack Development using the MERN stack. In December 2020, they were promoted to Vice President of Cloud Services, a role they currently hold.

Sean O'Connor completed their high school education at George Mason High School from 2000 to 2004. Sean then pursued an Associate of Science degree in Information Technology at Northern Virginia Community College from 2010 to 2014. Following that, they attended George Mason University from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Information Technology.
