José Leão

José Leão is currently the Head of Brokers & Partnerships at Grupo Ageas Portugal, where they lead efforts in developing new business opportunities and partnerships across various sectors. Previously, they served as Reinsurance Director within the same group, focusing on delivering tailored reinsurance solutions and optimizing underwriting quality. José began their career in 1996 at Ocidental Grupo, where they held various management roles, including General Manager in Mozambique from 2001 to 2009. They hold a degree in Economics from Faculdade de Economia da Universidade do Porto and have completed several executive education programs, with a recent postgraduate degree in Project Management from Porto Business School in 2023.
