Kumar Abhijeet

Kumar is responsible for accelerating revenue growth and expanding Ocient’s customer footprint in existing and in new market segments. Prior to Ocient, Kumar spent 3 years holding various sales leadership positions within IBM’s Cloud Object Storage business following IBM’s acquisition of Cleversafe for $1.4B, where Kumar spent 8 years and grew the company from the pre-revenue stage to driving 90% of Cleversafe revenue. Kumar has over 30 patents and has extensive experience in selling cloud, software, systems, and services into the largest and most complex enterprises around the world. Prior to Cleversafe, Kumar spent 3 years at Motorola’s Early Stage Accelerator team within the CTO Office.

Kumar, a Leadership Academy scholar, graduated with a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a minor in Entrepreneurship from Illinois Institute of Technology.
