Mark Noack

Mark Noack is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical writing and project leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Writer at Ocient, Mark has played a crucial role in launching public documentation for a hyperscale database startup while also contributing to the development of documentation processes and selecting a CMS platform. Prior to this, Mark led prototype development for a government agenda scraper project at Code for San José and spearheaded public documentation releases for Firebolt's data warehousing startup. With a strong background in journalism, including roles as a news reporter and editor at various publications, Mark has demonstrated expertise in crafting clear and engaging content across multiple platforms. Mark holds an M.A. in News Editorial Journalism from the University of Oregon and a B.A. in Modern Literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
