Matt Bergman

Matt Bergman has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. In 1998, they began their career at Lucent Technologies as a Supply-line Specialist/Shipping Supervisor. In 2000, they moved to the Chicago Tribune as a Circulation Manager. In 2005, they joined Sun Microsystems as a Business Development Rep in the Storage Practice and later as a Field Sales Operations Support Manager. In 2009, they worked as a Personal Banker at Fifth Third Bank. In 2010, they were the Regional Director of Sales Operations and Finance at SunGard Availability Services. In 2012, they became the Sales Operations Director at Cleversafe where they were responsible for sales reporting and analysis, sales cadence and managing communication within sales. In 2016, they joined IBM Cloud Object Storage as Global Sales and was responsible for providing industry leading software-defined hyperscale and cost effective solutions for AI workloads and large data primary and secondary storage. Matt also managed IBM Cloud Object Storage Systems Sales globally for on-premises client deployments and oversaw global sales programs and enablement for internal IBM Sellers and Business Partners. Most recently, they are the Director of Global Sales & Operations Strategy at Ocient.

Matt Bergman attended Solon High from 1990 to 1994. Matt then went on to The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business from 1994 to 1998, where they earned their BSBA in Finance. After that, they attended DePaul Driehaus College of Business from 2000 to 2002, earning their MBA in Finance. In September 2021, they obtained a Sales Operations Science certification from GreenFig.
