Pan Ye

Pan Ye has a wealth of experience in software and system engineering, quality assurance, and test engineering. Pan began their career in 2011 as an Assistant Test Engineer at Kotei Navi & Data (Wuhan) Co. where they tested the module of Human Machine Interface and Point of Interest in a navigation system used in android platform and iOS platform. Pan found the most bugs of the whole test team consisting of 23 members. In 2012, they became a Graduate Assistant at Worcester Polytechnic Institute where they wrote Android Tutorials and provided android development guidance to DB students. In 2013, they worked as a Software Engineer at Rivelando LLC where they wrote test plans and cases based on customer requirements, wrote and maintained bash scripts to create RPM installer for product, and wrote TestNG tools on Linux Platform to setup and populate system in multiple CentOS machines automatically to increase work efficiency. In 2014, they worked as a Software/System Engineer (QA) at HP Vertica where they designed test plans and test cases with automation scripting on functional tests, performance tests, and stress tests. Pan then worked as a Software QA Automation Engineer at Ipswitch File Transfer. In 2015, they became a Software/System Engineer (QA) at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Finally, they are currently a Senior QA Engineer at Ocient since 2022.

Pan Ye has a Master of Science in Information Technology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, which they obtained between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Management in Information Management & Information System from Huazhong Agricultural University (HZAU) between 2008 and 2012.
