Rashel Masters

Rashel Masters began their career in 2000 as a Software Engineer Co-op at Mercury Computer Systems, where they wrote testing and timing functions in C for algorithms in Scientific Algorithm Library, Vector Signal Image Processing Library and image processing library PixL, and debugged C library for PixL. In 2002, they took on the role of Web Developer Co-op at Neptune Web, designing static and dynamic sites with database-driven content from production to publishing using optimized and sliced images in Adobe Photoshop and Imageready, and programming back-end/server forms in PERL, PHP, ASP, SQL, mysql, and Javascript. That same year, they also took on the role of Software Engineer Co-op at Vistagy, where they enhanced laser projection functionality of FiberSIM enabling XML data output using C and C++, and built and tested FiberSIM-based EnCapta on five flavors of UNIX and three flavors of Windows. In 2004, they were hired as a Business Systems Analyst and Data Analyst at Eversource Energy, specializing in data warehousing, metadata development, data extraction and transformation, reporting development, and data marts. In 2012, they were hired as a Data Warehouse Business Systems Analyst at Constant Contact, where they elicited analytic requirements for reports, cubes, and dashboards in Cognos 10 environment, and performed data profiling and data modeling with IBM Infosphere Data Architect for multi-dimensional solutions. In 2019, they were hired as a Board Member at New England Sci-Tech Inc., where they led hiring and recruitment strategy, provided executive guidance to develop the organizational hierarchy and overall marketing strategy, and assisted with fundraising. In 2022, they were hired as a Documentation Team Lead at Ocient, where they developed the documentation process, guidelines, and best practices, built a documentation team, and managed a technical writer.

Rashel Masters obtained their MBA in Evening from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business between 2008 and 2011. Rashel also holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Northeastern University, which they obtained between 1999 and 2004. In 2012, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance, Inc.
