Ruth Hickey

Ruth Hickey has over 25 years of professional experience in software engineering and project management. Ruth began their career in 1994, working in various financial services technology roles, culminating in a Senior Engineering Manager position. In 2007, they joined PointRoll as Director of Project Management, where they were responsible for executive team briefings, customer success, and delivering $2.7M in custom development revenue. In 2012, they moved to Premier Farnell as an eCommerce Project Manager, working on the award-winning design engineering site element14 Community. In 2013, they joined Guaranteed Rate as VP of IT, where they were part of the IT leadership team and worked closely with the CEO and business executives. In 2018, they joined Isobar as a Manager, leading efforts to implement an interactive website for a major west coast tire retailer. In 2020, they joined TrueBlue Inc. as a Sr Program Manager, and in 2021, they joined Ocient as a Sr Project Manager.

Ruth Hickey is currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Data Science at Northwestern University, which they began in 2019. Ruth previously obtained a BS in Applied Mathematics from the University of Michigan.
