Ryan Osborn has a long and varied career in the media industry. Ryan began their career in 2001 as a Page at NBC Universal, where they held assignments within corporate communications, news media, and studio operations. Ryan worked on production of SNL, Late Night with Conan O'Brien and internal events, and performed guided tours of NBC studios. In 2002, they joined NBC News as a Researcher, working closely with anchors on "day of air" segments, covering breaking news, and booking guests. Ryan was then promoted to Associate Producer, working overnight shift and "crashing" late-breaking news for NBC's TODAY. Ryan also traveled to Athens and Torino to cover Olympics. In 2014, they were promoted to Vice President, Innovation and Strategic Integration at NBCUniversal, Inc. where they were the product lead behind NewsConnect, an enterprise collaboration tool, that has been adopted by over 1,000 journalists across diverse workflows. Ryan delivered product on time and on budget to realize cost savings, and was part of the founding team behind TODAY's Orange Room. In 2020, they joined The Washington Post as a Senior Technical Delivery Manager, leading day-to-day delivery of software to global, multilingual newsrooms, managing internal and external resources in the design, development and delivery of work on time and budget, and establishing relationships with key personnel to deliver high-quality service and product at all levels of an organization. Ryan is currently employed at Ocient as a Senior Content Strategist and at Arc XP as a Principal Implementation Consultant.

Ryan Osborn obtained a B.A. in English and Spanish from Vanderbilt University between 1997 and 2001. In 2021, they obtained a certification in API and Web Service Introduction from Udemy. In 2017, they obtained a certification in Product Management for Journalists from The University of Texas at Austin.
