Toby Redshaw

Toby Redshaw is CEO of Verus Advisory. Verus is a highly networked advisory service focused on innovation plus pragmatism, transformation, and technology-intensive challenges across verticals and all scale of firms. Toby was named to Top CTO 25 – Most Influential IT leaders by InfoWorld and Top 50 Global CIOs by InformationWeek. Prior he was at Verizon where he started by leading Tech Strategy for the firm.

Most recently he was responsible for Verizon's Enterprise Innovation and 5G Solutions area. He previously ran 5G Ecosystems (built first 5G labs/incubators), Innovation and Product Development, the AR/VR, and Location Services/Geo Intelligence Business. Toby was CEO of Kevington Advisors, a leading-edge consultancy offering services in enterprise technology strategy and transformation, coaching start-ups, and various government/military engagements. Toby previously held Global CIO positions at American Express and Aviva PLC, HQ in London. His responsibilities also included Risk, NPI, and eCommerce. He held product, marketing, strategy, venture, supply chain, diversity, and technology responsibilities during the six years prior at Motorola, while also Executive Chairman of a start-up portfolio company. In 2000 he was a GM at a global start-up, one of the first cloud-based solution platforms for hospitality out of Silicon Valley, China, London. He has extensive board and advisory board experience. He started his career at FedEx (17 years) in both business and technology-based in Asia, Latin America, and the US.
