Todd Brix has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Todd is currently the Founder and CEO of OCOchem, a company focused on using captured carbon dioxide to produce formic acid for large-scale energy storage. Prior to that, they held several roles at Microsoft, including Partner/General Manager for the Windows Store, Senior Director for the Windows Phone Store, and Director of Product Management for Windows Embedded and IoT. Todd also co-founded and served as the Chief Operating Officer of Thin Film Solutions Company. Before that, they worked as a Group Program Manager at SGI, a Technical Program Manager at Intel Corporation, and a Lead Process Design Engineer at Chevron. Todd began their career as a Process Engineer at Westinghouse Electric Company. Todd also has experience as a Research and Development Associate at Montana State University-Bozeman, an Assembly Line Worker at Spectrum Glass Co., and a Newspaper Carrier at The Seattle Times.
Todd Brix has a diverse educational background. Todd obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on General Management, Strategy, Operations, and Marketing from Harvard Business School between 1995 and 1997. Prior to that, they attended the University of Washington from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering. Todd'sconcentrations during this time were Hydroprocessing, Material Science, and Electrochemistry. Todd Brix completed their high school education at Lakeside School, where they received a High School Diploma in Physics and Calculus in 1987.
Additionally, Todd Brix obtained a professional certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) from the State of California in April 1992.
