Jeff Sloop

Jeff Sloop has extensive work experience in the field of IT operations and management. Jeff is currently serving as the Director of IT Operations at O'Connor Company since November 2020. In this role, they manage and directs the IT Operations team, handles network administration and wide area network, implements infrastructure upgrades, oversees vendor management and IT contract negotiations, and manages data centers and disaster recovery.

Prior to their current role, Jeff held various positions in different companies. From 2001 to 2006, they worked as the Lead Senior Network/Security Engineer at Hanebutt Consulting Group. Before that, they served as the Network Services Manager at La Petite from 2000 to 2001.

Furthermore, from 1998 to 2000, they worked as the Lead System Administrator at Birch Telecom. In this role, they managed a team and was responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting corporate NT servers in the Kansas/Missouri area.

Lastly, from 1995 to 1998, Jeff served as the Chief Systems Engineer at IKON Office Solutions.

Throughout their career, Jeff has demonstrated expertise in managing IT operations, implementing infrastructure enhancements, and ensuring data security and disaster recovery.

Jeff Sloop's education history includes attending Johnson County Community College from 1995 to 1998, where they studied Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management. Before that, they attended Metropolitan Community College-Maple Woods from 1992 to 1993, studying Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology.
