Peter Wei has built a strong career in the legal field, starting as a Student Advocate at The Safe Passage Project in 2015. Peter then progressed to roles such as Law Clerk at Barst Mukamal & Kleiner LLP, Summer Associate at Hur & Lash, LLP, and Associate Attorney at Jun Wang & Associates, P.C. In 2018, they worked as a Compliance Consultant at JPMorgan Chase & Co. before transitioning to the role of Anti-Money Laundering Consultant at Bank of China. Later, they served as an AML Senior Manager at Paxful and Associate General Counsel at ATOMYZE LLC. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Legal at Octaura.

Peter Wei holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Baruch College. Peter also obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from New York Law School, specializing in Intellectual Property Law, Immigration Law, and Corporate Law. Prior to this, Peter attended Stuyvesant High School. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, such as CAFCA from ACAMS and Chainalysis Reactor Certificate from Chainalysis Inc.
