Wayne Hu

Wayne Hu has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2003 as an Administrative Assistant and Exhibit Facilitator at Lawrence Hall of Science. In 2006, they were a Campus Staff Intern at InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, where they organized meetings, planned trips, and events, and lead groups of college students in discussions and community work. In 2007, they worked as a Substitute Teacher at Oakland Unified School District, and as a Research Associate I and Laboratory Technician at Tethys Bioscience, Inc. From 2009 to 2018, they worked at Crescendo Bioscience, where they held roles such as Manager-Development Lab, Senior Research Associate/Supervisor, and Research Associate III. In 2018, they joined Octave, where they are currently working as Associate Director - Lab Operations and Senior Lab Manager.

Wayne Hu attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a B.A in Integrative Biology and Human Biology.
