Stefano Mancin has a diverse work experience in the field of system engineering and project management. Stefano has worked in various companies and held different roles throughout their career.
From 2002 to 2008, Stefano started as a Junior System Engineer and Helpdesk support at HobbyPC s.n.c. Stefano then moved on to work as a System Engineer for Microsoft and Apple technologies at Gruner+Jahr/Mondadori from 2008 to 2011.
Stefano then joined Gruppo Reti in 2011 as a Senior System Engineer and later became a Team Leader, specializing in Microsoft OS and Virtualization. At Gruppo Reti, they worked on various projects for enterprise clients, including data center upgrades and disaster recovery modeling.
In 2016, Stefano joined Elmec Informatica as a Senior System Engineer and Project Manager. Stefano was responsible for designing and implementing infrastructure upgrades for VMware, Citrix, HPE Simplivity, Veeam Backup, and Microsoft Exchange.
In 2018, Stefano started working at Avanade as a Senior Infrastructure Consultant. Stefano played a key role in implementing Windows 10 VDI infrastructure based on VMware Horizon 7, supporting up to 8000 users. Stefano also worked on migration projects to Azure public cloud and security projects involving multi-factor authentication.
Currently, Stefano is employed at Ocuco Limited as a Lead Systems Engineer. Stefano is involved in designing and reviewing application infrastructures in the Azure cloud using SaaS and PaaS. Stefano also provides expert guidance on Azure technologies and best practices and develops automation solutions using Microsoft DevOps and other tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Stefano Mancin completed their education at I.T.I.S. OMAR, where they obtained a degree in Perito Industriale Elettronica e Telecomunicazioni with a focus on Elettronica and Telecomunicazioni. Stefano has also obtained multiple certifications, including the Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification from Microsoft in 2020, the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2019, and various other certifications from Microsoft, VMware, and Citrix between 2004 and 2018.
