Hema Ramkumar

Hema Ramkumar is the Founder and CEO of Oculogenex, a company that is dedicated to finding treatments for age-related macular degeneration. Hema is a highly accomplished researcher, with a previous position at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, where they worked on age-related macular degeneration research. Hema Ramkumar completed their Doctor of Medicine at Northwestern University. Hema then went on to do their residency and fellowship at the University of California, San Diego - School of Medicine in the field of ophthalmology.
