Brian Moran is a seasoned professional in the ophthalmic surgical devices industry, currently serving as the UK Surgical Territory Manager at OCULUS Surgical since December 2019, where Brian oversees the availability of a range of devices for Vitreo Retinal Surgery. Prior to this role, Brian held various positions in business development and sales management, including Business Development Manager at Keeler Ltd from September 1999 to December 2019 and Sales Manager at Birmingham Optical from 1996 to 1999. Brian's early career involved regional sales management at Keeler Ltd from 1991 to 1996. Brian Moran earned a degree in Ophthalmic Dispensing, Optometry from the University of Bradford between 1987 and 1991.

To provide customer care for the target group of vitreoretinal surgeons in North and South America, OCULUS Optikgeräte GmbH, Germany founded OCULUS Surgical, Inc. in Florida, USA in the fall of 2012. At company headquarters in Wetzlar, a new department was created too – the Surgical Division. In 2013 OCULUS introduced the world’s first single-use system for wide-field imaging, the BIOM ready, on the market. This “disposable BIOM” is a revolutionary innovation in vitreoretinal surgery. OCULUS Surgical, Inc. together with OCULUS Optikgeräte GmbH, will continue to provide the ophthalmic surgical market with advancements in wide angle viewing, as well as new, innovative tools for today's ophthalmic surgeon.
