Perley Dexter

Perley Dexter serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at OculusIT since September 2024, following a brief tenure as vCSO at VC3. Prior professional experience includes a role as vCIO Chief Security Officer at DominionTech, Inc. from June 2019 to July 2024, where responsibilities included translating technical dialogue into business context and overseeing long-term technology strategies. Perley spent 18 years at Norwich University in various leadership positions, culminating as Director of IT Systems, where the focus was on IT and information security policy development. Early career roles involved database administration, hardware support, and teaching at Vermont Technical College, along with work as an automotive technician at Coles Muffler Center. Perley holds two Associate of Science degrees from Vermont Technical College in Computer Engineering and Automotive Technology.
