Melody Waldock, CHRL, has a comprehensive work experience. Melody currently holds the position of Director, Human Resources at Ontario Clean Water Agency since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Metrolinx from 2018 to 2021 as a Human Resources Business Partner, providing strategic HR business support to a business unit of over 1300 employees. Melody also has experience as an HR Business Advisor at Ontario Clean Water Agency from 2015 to 2018, where they led the organization's transformation initiatives and facilitated the implementation of HR frameworks. Before that, they served as an HR Strategic Business Advisor at the Ontario Ministry of Education from 2008 to 2015, advising executives on HR matters and supporting talent management programs. Melody also worked as a Management Consultant at the Ontario Ministry of Labour from 2004 to 2008, providing HR consulting services to align HR strategies with business objectives. Melody started their career as an HR Coordinator at the Ontario Ministry of Finance in 2003 and gained valuable experience as a Retail Store Manager at Fossil from 2001 to 2003, driving sales and successfully managing a team of nine employees.
Melody Waldock, CHRL, has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science from Wilfrid Laurier University, earned between 1997 and 2001. Melody also obtained a HR Management Post Grad Certificate from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology in 2004. Additionally, they hold certifications in Human Resources Leadership from HRPA - Human Resources Professionals Association and in Change Management according to Prosci methodologies and tools from AdPro Change Systems Inc.
