Stephen Romano

Stephen Romano, MPA, M.Eng, P.Eng, is currently the Director of Asset and Maintenance Management Standards at the Ontario Clean Water Agency. From 2022 to 2025, they served as Division Manager of Environmental Services for the City of Cornwall, managing significant portfolios including sustainability initiatives and major water treatment facilities. They have extensive experience in water and wastewater engineering, with previous roles at AECOM and the City of London, where they led infrastructure projects and asset management programs. Stephen holds a Master of Public Administration from Queen's University and a Master of Engineering in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from Western University.
