Mike P.

Mike P. has a diverse work experience in the fields of cybersecurity and information technology. Mike currently holds the position of VP, ISSO/ISSM - FedRAMP (Cybersecurity Architect) at Odaseva, where they are leading the development and implementation of a government-focused SaaS platform aligned with Federal Standards such as FedRAMP, STIG, and FIPS.

Prior to their current role, Mike served as the Principal, Technical Customer Success Manager at Armis, where they were responsible for SaaS solution architecture, sales engineering, and overall technical customer success. Mike played a crucial role in aligning customer technical use cases with product capabilities in IT, OT, and Industrial Control System unified asset visibility, device profiling, network anomaly detection, and policy development.

Before joining Armis, Mike worked at Qualys as the Technical Director, Cybersecurity - Federal. Mike managed the Qualys Federal & SaaS solution and was responsible for technical post-sales and pre-sales, customer success, sales engineering, solution architecture, and Federal product management. Mike also developed relationships with Federal distributors and System Integrators and obtained certifications such as DHS CISCP and GSA Schedule.

Prior to their tenure at Qualys, Mike held the position of Director, Information Security - Industrial Control Systems and Operational Technology at McKesson, where they oversaw the security of industrial control systems and operational technology. Mike also served as the Director, Security Solutions Architect - Federal at Qualys, where they provided strategic and tactical technical support for enterprise SaaS customers in areas such as asset discovery, network security, web app security, vulnerability assessment, and compliance monitoring.

Before their work at Qualys, Mike worked as the Associate Director, Cybersecurity at Coca-Cola European Partners, where they were responsible for enterprise security architecture, engineering, and operations across various security disciplines. Mike had previous experience as a Security Solutions Architect at Qualys, where they deployed enterprise security and compliance solutions.

Mike began their career in the IT industry with the USDA - National Finance Center, where they held the role of IT Specialist. Mike had steady progressions in security and systems engineering technical roles during their time at this organization.

Prior to their civilian career, Mike served in the United States Marine Corps, where they held the rank of Gunnery Sergeant. Mike had a distinguished and decorated career, culminating in an honorable discharge and retirement from active duty. In this role, they had IT operations and IT security technical and management responsibilities. Mike reported directly to the Assistant Chief of Staff for Communications.

Mike P. has a BSc in Applied Computing from Tulane University. Mike also pursued graduate work in Data Science at Louisiana State University.
