Yael Semo

Yael Semo has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Yael is currently working as the Director of New Ventures at ODDITY since May 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Executive Business Manager at Tailor Brands from December 2021 to March 2022.

Yael also has entrepreneurial experience, having founded and served as the CEO of Jiyu Mobility from August 2019 to January 2021. Yael was also an Entrepreneur at The Library Tel Aviv, an urban innovation space of the Tel-Aviv Jaffo Municipality, from September 2018 to September 2019.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Yael worked as a Legal Associate at Caspi & Co. from September 2015 to September 2019, where they provided legal counsel on high-profile corruption and securities law violation cases.

Yael also gained project management experience as a Project Leader at rides, where they conducted market research, legal analysis, and product management tasks from July 2018 to February 2019.

Yael's earlier professional experience includes working as a Private Tutor from November 2010 to September 2014 and as a Research Assistant at Tel Aviv University USA (AFTAU) from April 2013 to February 2014.

Additionally, Yael served as a Musician from January 2006 to November 2011 and as a Research Analyst at the Israeli Air Force (IAF) from November 2008 to November 2010, where they conducted intelligence technology-based research and analysis.

Yael Semo began their education at Tel Aviv University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree. During the same period, they also pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Musicology at Tel Aviv University. In 2013, Yael briefly attended the Cardozo School of Law, focusing on the study of law. In 2018, they attended Elevation and pursued studies in Product Management. Most recently, in 2019, Yael completed a course in Data Analysis at Elevation.
