Survey Party Chief at O'Dell Engineering

Ryan Andersen has a strong background in surveying, with experience in various roles at different engineering companies. Ryan began their survey career as a Chainman with O'Dell Engineering in 2004 before being promoted to Survey Party Chief in 2005. In this role, they were in charge of obtaining accurate field data for boundary and topographical surveys, as well as performing field calculations for construction staking. Ryan worked on a variety of projects, including low-rise steel building control, monitoring, subdivisions, commercial centers, and master planned communities. In 2007, they joined Mid-Valley Engineering as a Senior Survey Party Chief/Survey Manager, where they mainly focused on construction staking, topographical surveys, and boundary work. Ryan returned to O'Dell Engineering in 2013 as a Survey Party Chief, responsible for managing 1 and 2-man field crew operations and overseeing projects such as construction staking on large subdivisions, railways, highways/bridges, and large commercial projects.

Ryan Andersen attended California State University-Sacramento from 2000 to 2001, where they studied Water Quality and Wastewater Treatment Management and Recycling Technology/Technician. In March 2019, they obtained an FAA License UAS # 4241405 from the Federal Aviation Administration.
