Nicky Temperley

Nicky Temperley has worked in various roles in IT industry and hospitality sector for nearly two decades. Starting from McDonald’s Corporation as a Staff Trainer in 2003, they then moved to Northumberland County Council in 2010 and worked in different roles including Microsoft 365 Functionality Team, IT Support Officer, and Sundry Debt Administrator. In 2020, they moved to NHS Business Services Authority as an Application Support Developer and then to Northumberland County Council as a Software Developer in 2021. In 2022, they worked with Northern Gas Networks as a Software Developer and finally, in 2023, joined Odevo as a Power Platform Developer.

Nicky Temperley has an education background that includes obtaining a master's degree in Computing and IT from The Open University between 2019 and 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in BSc (Hons) Computing and IT (Software) from the same institution from 2016 to 2019. Their secondary school education took place at Ashington High School between 2000 and 2006, where they studied Maths, IT, and Business Studies, but did not receive a formal degree. In addition to their formal education, Nicky also obtained two certifications, including an APM Student certification from the Association for Project Management in May 2021 and an MTA: Software Development Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in June 2020.
