Product Owner at Odevo

Patrik Sommar has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Patrik started their career in 2005 as a Customer Support representative at A-lotterierna (now Kombispel), where they provided assistance to customers through various communication channels. During this time, they developed a passion for marketing. In 2007, they transitioned to the role of Event Manager at A-lotterierna, where they organized jackpot events, managed logistics, and maintained relationships with event agencies.

In 2011, Patrik worked as a Project Manager and Marketing Coordinator at Kombispel. Here, they had a broad range of responsibilities, including developing the company's website and handling digital communication channels such as email, SMS, display advertising, SEM, and web pages. Patrik continued in the position of CRM Manager for Digital Channels, automating digital communication processes.

In 2015, Patrik joined ManpowerGroup as a Product Owner and Functional Analyst. Patrik primarily worked on their external web pages, focusing on the Nordic IT & Process department. After that, they joined Tele2 in 2017, initially as a Digital Project Manager, where they led a project to build a customer service bot. Patrik later became a Scrum Master, responsible for enhancing the residential customer journey and sales flow.

Patrik then worked as a Consultant at Forefront Consulting Group, specializing in user experience-centered solutions, agile transformation, project management, and business analyses with a customer-centric approach.

Lastly, in 2018, Patrik joined Bonava as a Consultant, where they served as a Team Lead, Scrum Master, and Agile Coach for the development and maintenance of web pages across Bonava's countries. Patrik focused on improving the agile way of working within the team and collaborating with stakeholders.

Currently, Patrik is working at Odevo as a Product Owner from 2023 onwards.

Patrik Sommar pursued their education at Stockholm University from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a degree in IT and Marketing. Additionally, they obtained various certifications, including the Certified SAFe 5 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in February 2022, the Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in January 2019, and the Google Analytics certification from Google in February 2017. It is not specified whether they obtained the Google Adwords certification or the specific month and year for its attainment.
