James Ferrier

James Ferrier has a diverse work experience, starting in 2011 as a Tennis Instructor for the City of Rapid City. In 2012, they worked as a Tour Guide at Sitting Bull Crystal Caverns until 2014. James then became an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Metallurgical Engineering Department in 2014. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as an Engineering Intern at Kiewit. In 2017, they served as a Mining Engineer Intern at LafargeHolcim. From 2018 to 2019, James worked as a Field Engineer at HENSEL PHELPS, and from 2019 to 2021, they held the position of Office Engineer at the same company. Currently, James Ferrier is a Project Engineer at Odin Construction Solutions, starting in 2022.

James Ferrier attended South Dakota Mines from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering.
