The foundation of ODINN’s edge systems were originally developed with the goal of sending data centers into space. To enable this, all of the constraints created by space needed to be considered, including availability of energy (limited to solar), server footprint and weight (to allow transport via space shuttles, and occupancy on satellites), and computing power (to remain up-to-date for the foreseeable future).  As a result, and now available for the commercial market, ODINN is able to offer capabilities unthinkable until now: the most compact, powerful, and energy-efficient servers on the planet, with rapidly deployable edge computers, compatible with multitudes of applications that vastly outperform existing data center and cloud offerings.
